My Fave Tapsilog in Town - Maty's!

What's your Favorite Meal? I'm not really a picky person when it comes to eating, I can eat street foods, Veggies and Meat provided that it should be clean and I trusted the Cook hehe...when it comes to Veggies, I just do not like the Taste the "Ampalaya" or Bitter Gourd but other than that Anyone can treat me without having any worries if I'm going to like the food or not.

but there's this one Meal that i could eat over and over again...I guess you already know what it is....The Tapsilog Meal! but not just any Tapsilog, I'm referring to the Famous Tapsilog of Parañaque City, The Maty's Tapsilog! I discovered Maty's when they served as one of Food Concessionaire in our Company and after tasting their Meal, I'm definitely hooked!

Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to any Meal. the shortened term "Tapsilog" for Tapa, Sinangag at Itlog is one of the "Pangmasa" meal here in the Philippines and I'm glad I came across with it...Delicious and Affordable Rolled into one! if you're living within Parañaque and Las Piñas, Perhaps you are Familiar with Maty's Tapsilog Eatery as they also serve other sumptous "log meals" like Bangsilog, Longsilog, Chicksilog, Pansit and so on... I believe they have several branches around Parañaque City so you won't have a hard time looking for them!

Here I took some Photos of Maty's Eatery:

Delicious and Affodable Meals!

A Love Letter for my Mom...

  Dear My Lovely Nanay,

It's been days since You've gone... but it seems that you never left us, I always feel that you are beside and watching over us. I'm Still hurting about what happened to you, I know you have a serious Illness but I always think that you can get over with it because I believe that you are a Strong Woman. the day I Learned that you have little time left with us, I Felt like I'm an Incomplete person already. I cannot believe that you're leaving us anytime soon...I don't know how many times I cried, I'm in Denial stage, Flashback of memories came to my Mind, From the time that you told us how Tatay died and You felt devastated, but through your Strong Faith to our Lord God, You managed to raise us really well, You were there through the Happy and Trial Moments with our Family. You are our Shining Star through the Darkness, You are one of a perfect epitome of a Lovely and Caring Mom in the World.  I know you fought with your Illness with Bravery and Full of hope thinking that you can be with your Children and the rest of the Family for a Long Time but your Physical body is deteriorating, I know it's God's will, I should really know...

Strobing Guide for the Prettiest Glow - Guest Post by Sophia Smith

Last season was all about contouring, a makeup technique that consists of shadowing and highlighting to define and shape your features. However, many women complained that contouring takes too much time and makeup products. Luckily, there’s a new technique trending and it’s much simpler. And yes – today, we are talking about strobing.

What’s Strobing?

A word strobing comes from the verb to strobe, meaning to flash intermittently. Knowing this, it’s not hard to conclude that strobing has something to do with highlighting and illuminating. It’s a makeup technique that relies on highlighting products in order to enhance your natural features.

Strobing is a growing trend this season because it creates a more natural looks and takes far less time than contouring. Bear in mind that strobing doesn’t mean you need to cover yourself in highlighter and shine bright like a diamond. You should carefully accentuate a few areas on your face where the light wouldnaturally hit – brow bones, cheekbones, the center of the forehead, the bridge of your nose, the cupid’s bow, and chin. This will give you that fresh, dewy look. But, be careful - extra highlighting can lead to sweaty look, especially if you have oily skin.

How it’s done?

Before you start, prepare your skin by moisturizing it. Use an oil-free moisturizer if your skin is naturally oily. Makeup artists advise applying illuminating primer as the next step for maximum glow. Choosing a highlighter shade that matches your skin tone is a very important part. It should complement your natural tone for a subtle sheen. You should choose a cooler, pearl tone for pale skin and a warmer, golden pearl for dark skin.

Once you’ve made your choice, you can start strobing. Apply highlighter to the previously mentioned areas of your face. You can use cream, liquid, or powder highlighter, it’s up to you. Just make sure you don’t spread it all over your face – it’ll look messy. Also, in case your skin is oily, you might want to skip highlighting T-zone or whatever another part of your face is naturally shiny. Blend a little to make sure everything is in its place. And there you go – your skin looks perfect and has a healthy glow.

Some people claim strobing is contouring for lazy people, but that’s very debatable. Strobing emphasizes the best features of your face, and leaves imperfections in the background. You can finish off by applying mascara and some lipstick. If you want to achieve the no-makeup look, go for the hues that match your natural lip colour. Natural organic lipsticks are the best option since they’re free of any potentially skin-harming chemicals and consist of nourishing fresh ingredients.

Who’s Strobing?

Although Kim Kardashian popularized the contouring makeup technique, it’s her sister that mastered the strobing – Kendall Jenner. The great thing about this trend is that it looks good on any face shape.

Strobing also works for any skin type or colour, so no wonder that both Katy Perry and Beyoncé can pull it off perfectly. Beyoncé took it one step further – she used strobing to highlight her cleavage so maybe that’s going to be the next trend.

Celebrity or not, strobing works like a charm for everyone. Contouring may have strong ambassadors among celebrities, but strobing is the technique that ruled the runway shows this season. And although it’s a relatively new thing, more and more celebrities are into it. But, more importantly, it’s far simpler than contouring. With a little effort and just a few beauty products, your skin can become bright and radiant. And looking pretty without applying tons of product – that’s the dream for this generation of women.

New Philippines? What do I mean? It has been a Month since President Rodrigo "Digong" Duterte takeover as a New Leader of the Philippines and I must say that I am Impressed! Please set aside the Biased thing, because I voted for him last election day. I have nothing against other People who voted for their preferred Candidates because it's our Right to choose whoever we wanted and who think can improve the status of our Unruly Government.

Kid's Field Trip at Ocean's Adventure and Dinosaur's Island

I Love Kid's School Field Trip because I find it really fun and also serves as a Bonding for me and my Kids. Last January 21, I was finally able to attend the field trip of my kids and took a Notification Leave at my work., The Destination was at Ocean Adventure- Subic Bay, Olongapo and Dinosaur's Island- Mabalacat, Pampanga . My Two Kids were really excited because My Son, Arquin was a fan of Dinosaurs and Nikki loves to travel and wants to see a new scenery.

It was a 5 hours long Drive away from Las Piñas where we reside and We Left as Early as 4AM but it was not really an exhausting trip because the bus that the school rented was a comfortable one and we were able to sleep for awhile.
